Why Choose ?

ARA 290 may help to repair these small nerve fibers and restore normal function over time. Chronic Inflammation: Chronic inflammation is inherent to most chronic health conditions, ranging from rheumatoid arthritis to heart disease to diabetes.

How to Use

Typical Dosage Range: 4 mg to 6 mg subcutaneously. Administration Method: Subcutaneous injection. Cycle Length: 8 to 12 weeks. Study Reference: A study in Molecular Pain (PMID 24529189) supports its use for neuropathic pain relief.

Safety Information

Preclinical toxicology studies of ARA 290, as well as single and multiple ascending repeated dosing of human volunteers and patients with kidney disease, diabetes mellitus or sarcoidosis have raised no safety issues (11; unpublished data, Araim Pharmaceuticals).

Potential Side Effects

ong-term use of erythropoietin can cause adverse effects, including hypertension and thromboembolic complications (Cho et al., 2022). ARA290, an 11-amino acid peptide, is derived from the structural motif of EPO. It does not interact with EPOR in the hematopoietic system, so it avoids the adverse effects of EPO (Collino et al., 2015). ARA290 maintains the effects of EPO in the nervous system, and can reduce neuropathic pain and inflammatory responses (Swartjes et al., 2011; Wang et al., 2024). This study explored the effects of EPO and ARA290 on the activation of Schwann cell NLRP3 inflammasomes during the early phase of sciatic nerve injury.
